Paul James Burleson, 45 years of age, of Locust, NC passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
Paul was born July 11, 1972 in Concord, NC to J.D. Burleson and Joyce Tucker Burleson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Joseph Edward Burleson and his maternal grandparents Paul Daniel Tucker and Naomi Smith Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, December 1, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Dr. Kinney Wallace. Burial will then follow at the Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Locust.
Survivors include his parents JD and Joyce Burleson; sons Jacob and Matthew Burleson; brother Tommy Burleson and grandmother Jewell Burleson, all of Locust, NC; as well as special friend Tammy Gilmore of Oakboro.
