Paul Chase

Paul Clinton Chase, 79 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Paul was born August 12, 1935 in Cabarrus County North Carolina to the late Perry Clinton and Ruth Auten Chase


The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow on Thursday at 7:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord in officiated by Rev. Jimmy Hall and Rev. Eugene Sprinkle . A graveside service conducted by Rev. John Tucker will be held at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis on Friday August 22, 2014 at 2:00 P.M.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years , Alice Fletcher Chase of the home , daughter, Paula Lippard and husband Tony of Concord, two grandsons Christopher and Ryan Reaney , sister, Margie Chase of Kannapolis.

Paul served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958 and help to improve the seat of the co-pilot of the B-52's to ensure a safe exit and received a citation for this.
