Paul Lee Morgan, 76 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015 at his home in Stanfield.
Paul was born February 6, 1939 in Stanly County to the late Homer Lee Morgan and Eula Mullis Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Paula Lee Morgan; brother, Don Morgan; step-father, Horace Jenkins; and companion, Barbara Minnie.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2016 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, 13575 Broadway Avenue, Midland, NC 28107. Rev. Mike Mcgee will officiate. Burial will follow at the Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Hwy. 200, Stanfield.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Tanya Torrence of Concord; sons, Kelly Morgan of Mount Gilead, Michael (Ann) Morgan of Polkton, and Paul "Pete" (Alicia) Morgan of High Rock, NC; seven grandchildren, Brandon, Jason, Morgan, Landon, Brittany, Scott, and Keegan; one great grandson, Mason; brother, J.F. Morgan of Stanfield; and sisters, Marsha Margol of Tampa, FL, and Cookie Lee of Charlotte.
