Paul Tuck

Mr. Paul Alan Tuck, 70, of Concord, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his residence.

Alan was born October 2, 1949 in Kannapolis, North Carolina to Paul Rutherford Tuck and Gwen Cameron Tuck. He was a 1969 graduate of A.L. Brown High School and became a master painter and carpenter by trade working for Cannon Mills, Pizza Hut and various hotels at North Myrtle Beach. He loved the beach life, blues music and especially shag dancing. Alan is fondly remembered in the shag community as "Tuck".

Survivors include his parents, Paul Rutherford Tuck and Gwen Cameron Tuck; daughter, Joy Tuck Dry (partner Marc Reid), daughter, Angela "Gigi" Tuck Burch (husband Kevin Tow), son, Nathan Tuck (Lidu), sister, Robin Garcia (Sal). Also surviving are five grandchildren, Emily Dry, Madeline Burch, Alana Burch, Sandra Tuck, Alex Tuck.

Funeral service will be held at 5 pm, Saturday, February 22 at the Kingdom Hall for Jehovah's Witness located at 811 Delane St in Kannapolis. The family will receive friends at 4 pm prior to the service.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Tuck family.
