Paulette Dixon

Paulette Sasser Dixon, age 61 of 467 E. 5th St. Oakboro, NC, formerly of Albemarle, passed away on November 03, 2010 at her home. The family will receive friends at the Norwood Church of God, on Friday from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Norwood Church of God. Rev. Keith Allen will officiate and burial will follow in Porter Community Cemetery in Norwood. Born in Stanly County on December 10, 1948, she is the daughter of the late Dennie Alvin Sasser, Sr. and the late Rosada Bunn Sasser. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dennie Alvin Sasser, Jr. and a sister, Verona “Tootsie” Burleson. She is survived by her husband, William Patrick “Pat” Dixon of the home; sisters, Pearleene Knight of Marshville, Anita Dennis and Gay Harkey, both of Norwood and Monica Garland of Albemarle; aunt, Brenda Gibson of Norwood; goddaughter, Christie Garland of Charlotte and many nieces and nephews.
