Paulette Humphrey

Paulette Braden Humphrey, our loving wife and mother, age 62, of 5258 Woodrun on Tillery, Mt. Gilead, NC, 27306, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2010, surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis, MO on January 12, 1948. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Adeline Denmon Braden, and her father, Edward Paul Braden. Paulette leaves behind her important role as wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many. She is survived by her husband, William Humphrey, of Mt Gilead, NC, her daughter, Ginger Wiley and husband, Jason, of Adamstown, MD, her son, Bryan Humphrey and wife Milicent, of Greensboro, NC, and her grandchildren, Amelia, Braden, Adelyn and Elliot. She was proudly expecting the arrival of another grandson, Carter. A celebration of life service is planned for Thursday, March 4, 2010 at 2pm at First United Methodist Church of Norwood, NC. Visitation will follow the service in the fellowship hall. The family would especially like to thank Dr. Paula Lee and the staff of Duke Hospital, the Randolph Cancer Center, and First Health Hospice and Palliative Care.
