Pauline Hartsell

Pauline Hatley Hartsell, 93 years of age, of Locust, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at her home in Locust.

Pauline was born January 23, 1924 in Stanly County to the late Johnnie Moore Hatley and the late Julia Ann Hatley. She was also preceded in death by husband, Charlie Huston Hartsell; son, Charles Daniel Hartsell; sisters, Ramelle Hatley, Gatha Hatley, Jamie Griffin, and Helen Linker; and brother and John H. Hatley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm , Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 4:00 pm at Locust Presbyterian Church and will be officiated by Rev. Evan Amo. Burial will follow at the Locust Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Susan H. (Tommy) Morrow of Locust; and son, John Randy (Linda M.) Hartsell of Locust; granddaughters, Anna (Tim) Sterner of North Pole, Alaska, and Meredith Hartsell of Carolina Beach, NC; grandsons, Matthew (Alicia) Morrow of Locust, NC, Jonathan (Lauren) Hartsell of Locust, James (Leah) Hartsell of Concord, and Joshua (Jennifer) Hartsell of Locust; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Fannie Hathcock of Locust.
