Pauline Morton

Pauline Eury Morton, 93 years of age, of Granite Quarry, formerly of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Autumn Care in Salisbury.

Pauline was born June 25, 1923 in Stanly County to the late James Henderson Eury and the late Mary Ann Forrest Eury. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Morton; her daughter, Bertie Pinion; and her husband, in 1985, Billy William Morton.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Charles Carver. Burial will follow at Canton Baptist Church Cemetery, 24615 Endy Road, Albemarle.

Survivors include one daughter, Evelyn Adams of Granite Quarry; three sons, Jerry (Lanette) Morton of Wadesboro, Lonnie Morton of GA, and Johnny (Drena) Morton of Albemarle; 21 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
