Pauline Tucker

Pauline Duncan Tucker, 98, of Union County, passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 at Home, surrounded by her family. . Ms. Tucker was born December 14, 1914, in Union County to the late William Thomas Duncan, Sr. and the late Cora Helms Duncan, also preceded in death brothers, Benard Duncan, Sam Duncan, WT Duncan Jr., Otto Duncan and Coy Duncan and sister Martha Jane Duncan. The grave side service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, at Crooked Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 7920 Crooked Creek Church Rd. Monroe, NC, officiated by Rev. Lee Pigg. Survivors include her son Jimmy Tucker and wife Lena; daughter Reba Haigler and husband Steve; sister, Christine Duncan of Monroe; five grandchildren, Mya Honeycutt, Keela Reeder, Evan Haigler, Matthew Tucker and Stephanie Spencer and five great-grandchild, Houston and Easton Honeycutt, Jackson Reeder, Alaina Tucker and Hadley Haigler. Special thanks to her care giver Pam Hendrickson. Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, 420 Hopewell Church Road Monroe, NC 28110.
