Pauline Tucker

Pauline Tucker, 89 years of age of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Carolinas Medical Center – NorthEast of Concord. Mrs. Tucker was born August 16, 1922 in Stanly County to the late John Richard Osborne and Elmer Rowland Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey William Tucker in 1998. She was a retired employee of Cannon Mills and a homemaker. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 27, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, with a 30 minute state, at First Baptist Church of Midland. Rev. Tom Gibbs and Rev. Dwight Mabry will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors include her son, Bobby W. Tucker and his wife, Nancy, of Stanfield; her daughter, Judy Ruth Smith and her husband, Carl, of Stanfield; her brothers, Shirley Osborne of Landis and Johnny “Jack” Osborne of Norwood; her sister, Ruby Tutterow of Landis; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Tucker family.
