Pearlie Yvonne McGhee

Pearlie Yvonne Hartsell McGhee, 85, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her home. 

Pearlie was born May 2, 1939, in North Carolina to the late Charlie D. Hartsell and the late Nealie Campbell Hartsell. She was also preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Donald Eugene McGhee.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Monday, September 2, 2024, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will follow on Monday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Don Burleyson. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include children, Donna Hinson of Oakboro, NC, Dale McGhee of Albemarle, NC, and Darrell (Melissa) McGhee of Albemarle, NC; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Emily) Hatley of Albemarle, NC, Brandon (Kailey) Hinson of Oakboro, NC, Bradley (Savannah) Hinson of Oakboro, NC, Greg (Marissa) McGhee of Mt. Gilead, NC, and Laura Carpenter of Stanfield, NC; 9 great-grandchildren plus one on the way; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Pearlie loved her Bingo and her family and she was a faithful believer in Jesus.
