Pearly Burnette
January 20, 1932 — July 20, 2016
Pearly Gean Thomas Burnette, 84 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at First Assembly Living Center in Concord.
Mrs. Burnette was born January 20, 1932 in Stanly County to the late Arthur Daniel Thomas and the late Eva Lucinda Burris Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Franklin Burnette; four brothers, Buford, Frealon, Roy, and Grover Thomas; and one sister Lois Morrison.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Love's Chapel United Methodist Church in Stanfield and will be officiated by Rev. Gene Moore. Burial will follow in the Love's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery at 808 South Love Chapel Road, Stanfield, NC.
Survivors include son, Terry (Pansy) Burnette of Midland; daughter, Eva Gean (Dwain) Thomas of Locust; three grandsons, Dusty Burnette, and Josh and Kevin Thomas; great-granddaughter, Charolyn "Charlie" Burnette; and one brother, Cecil Thomas of Ft. Mill, SC.
