Peggy Blanton

Peggy Carolyn Blanton, 90, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on January 12, 2022 at her home in Mt. Pleasant, NC

She was born on April 8, 1931 to Robert and Leilah (Bonds) Clark at Kings Mountain. Carolyn worked in Sales for many years in which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was known for her unwavering love for her children, grandkids and great grand's.  Her devotion to God was paramount and she loved serving at the Park Wood Baptist Church.  Carolyn will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Michael Blanton(Patty) of Mount Pleasant, NC, Charles Drury Blanton, Jr(Sue). two granddaughters, Amy  Queen, Ashley  Altman; two grandsons, Randy  Blanton, James  Blanton; three great-grandsons, Jace Altman, Cody Queen, Bryson Blanton, Jordan Eagle; four great-granddaughters, Caitlyn Queen, Ava Altman, Raelynn Blanton, Kaylea Blanton.

She was preceded in death by father, Robert Clark, mother, Leilah Clark, Loving Husband, Charles Drury Blanton, Sr.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord, NC. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, Concord, NC, with Pastor Michael Waters, officiating.

Burial will take place in the West Lawn Memorial Park.
