Peggy Stallings

Peggy Munson Stallings, 69 years of age, of Concord, passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Peggy was born April 18, 1944 in North Carolina to the late Robert Monroe Munson and the late Blanche Elizabeth Munson.
She was also preceded in death by sister, Shelby Jean Munson Helms.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow on Saturday at 3:00 pm at the funeral home in Concord officiated by Rev. Terry Smith. The burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.

Survivors include husband, Robert Ray Stallings of Concord, NC; daughter, Meredith Rae Stallings of Concord, NC; sister, Janet Munson of Concord, NC; brother, Harry (Valinda) Munson of Stanfield, NC; brother, Jerry (Evie) Munson of Winter Park, FL; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, XI Beta Theta Chapter. Peggy was also the chairperson for the Mid Atlantic Multiple Sclerosis Society of Cabarrus County for several years. She was also a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Concord, NC on S. Spring St.
