Petula Agati

Petula Maria Agati, 46 years of age, of Concord, passed away in her home on Thursday, June 29, 2017.
Petula was born March 14, 1971 in Rome, Italy to Gary Allen Markham and Lucia Santina Finocchiaro while her father was on active duty with the U.S. Navy. Seeing Petula walk into a room was like a beautiful sunrise. She was a joyful and profound person who loved life. She loved cooking and putting her culinary fantasy to work to create memorable dishes for her family during the Holidays. Her favorite pass times were shopping with her Mom where I think the phrase “shop till you drop” originated and taking care of her dog Skittle where the bond was immense; they were inseparable.
The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be Thursday at 1 pm at the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The service will be officiated by Minister Joe Williams from MT Island Church of Christ, a family prayer service will be provided by Father Jerome Chavarria from Saint James the Greater Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Cabarrus Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband - Ignazio, their two sons Edoardo and Alessandro, father and mother, Gary and Lucia Markham of Charlotte, NC and her Aunt Santa Maria Wilson of Charlotte, NC.
