Phelia Blackwell

Phelia Jolean Smith Wallace Blackwell, 87, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at her home.

Jolean was born February 3, 1936 in North Carolina to the late Samuel Lee Smith and the late Margaret Huneycutt Smith.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Bobby Ray Blackwell, Sr.; grandson, Thadeus Reed Wallace; siblings, Peggy Sue Warren and James Millard Smith; and daughter-in-law, Tanya Wallace.

The private graveside service will be at Charlotte Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Billy Sistare.

Survivors include sons, Ronald Wallace, Jimmy Wayne Wallace, Kenny Wallace, Darrell Wallace, Gerald Wallace and wife, Angela; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and siblings, Magaline Riddle, Kay Rogers, Wayne Smith, and Sylvane Eudy.

Jolean loved being on the farm with her horses, cows, and other animals. Jolean also loved being with her family more than anything. She was a strong Christian woman with a love for Jesus that she shared with many others.
