Philip Laubscher

Philip Cranford Laubscher, 72, of Concord, NC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Phil was born November 3, 1950 in Sanford, North Carolina to the late Paul Irvin Laubscher and the late Polly Frances Cranford Laubscher. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Paul Irvin Laubscher, Jr.

Philip was a hardworking and peaceful man. He loved Jesus and his family. Philip never met a stranger. He was an avid sports fan. But he especially loved the Carolina Tarheels. To Philip everything was better in "Carolina Blue". Philip always enjoyed a day at the beach. He is greatly loved and will be genuinely missed by his family. His family is so thankful that he has his new body and is walking with Jesus.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Angela Dianne Barbee Laubscher of the home; daughter, Paula Harrison and husband Robert; daughter, Christy Nall and husband Alan; son, Rodney Hildreth and wife Crystal; brother, Bruce Laubscher and wife Mitzi; six grandchildren; and four great granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, 460 Branchview Dr., Concord, NC 28025.  A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Matt Turbedsky and Randy Dabbs.
