Philip Smith

Philip Charles Smith, 54, of Stanfield, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at the home of his sister in Concord, NC. Mr. Smith was born January 15, 1957, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Wayne Hamilton. The funeral will be Saturday at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown in Memphis, Tennessee. Survivors include his mother, Norma Jean Livingston Hamilton, of Stanfield; brother, Robert Smith, of Memphis, TN; sisters, Janet Carter of Columbia, SC, and Patricia Iglehart of Concord; and nieces, Julia Ruth and Rebecca Wayne Iglehart. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the Smith family.
