Philip Sylvester

Mr. Philip Joseph Sylvester 63 of Locust, NC passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at CMC-NorthEast Medical Center in Concord. Born on June 27, 1946 to the late Alcide Sylvester and the late Antoinette St. Pierre Sylvester. Mr. Sylvester was a veteran of The US Marines, and was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church. He was a driver with Porter’s Fabrications. Memorial services will be held at Cold Springs United Methodist Church on Sunday, January 10, 2010 at 3:00 PM, with the Rev. Randy Wall and the Rev. Mary Hatley officiating. Survived by: wife, June Sylvester of the home, daughters, Stacy Collins of Concord, and Nicole Chivers of Jacksonville, NC; four grandchildren.
