Phillip Little

Phillip “Phil” Wayne Little, 65, of Belmont, NC, formerly of Stanfield, passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2010, at Presbyterian Main, Charlotte, NC. Mr. Little was born September 16, 1944, in Mecklenburg County. He was preceded in death by his father, Zeb Brice Little. Survivors include his mother, Mary Brown Herlocker Little of Stanfield; wife of 20 years, Sandra Fisher Little; son, Phillip Jeffery Little and wife, Janette of Stanfield; daughters, Shelly Hall and husband, Jason of Stanfield, Leslie Bowman and husband, Eddie of Stanley, Kelly Hutchins of Lowell; brothers, Doug Little and wife, Polly of Stanfield, and Dan Little and wife, Marsha of North Wilkesboro; and ten grandchildren; four nieces and a nephew; and his beloved dogs. Visitation will be at Loves Grove United Methodist Church, Stanfield, Saturday, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00, officiated by Rev. Jim White and Rev. Jim Allred. Burial will be in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his mother’s home on Love’s Chapel Road, Stanfield.
