Phyllis Deese

Phyllis Amelia Deese, age 69 of 138 N. Main Street, Richfield, long time resident of Myrtle Beach, passed away on October 1, 2010 at CMC NE. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle on Sunday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will meet at the home of her son, Terry Deese, 238 N. Main Street, Richfield. Funeral will be in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel on Monday at 4 PM. Rev. Judy Copeland will officiate and burial will be in Richfield Cemetery. She was a food manager for K-Mart in Myrtle Beach and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Richfield. Born in Stanly County, NC on January 13, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Vance Hartsell and the late Oda Bell Efird Hartsell. She is survived by her husband, Lester Ritchie Deese of the home; son, Terry Deese and wife Lisa of Richfield; daughter, Leita Moore and husband James of Myrtle Beach; brother, Norman Hartsell and wife Judy of Albemarle; grandchildren, Hamilton, Alexandra and Margaret Deese and Arlayna and Zayda Deese Moore.
