Phyllis Herrin

Phyllis Herrin, 80 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at her home in Concord. Mrs. Herrin was born April 5, 1933 to the late Jason and Margie Garmon . She was also preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Blackwelder, sister, Jo Gail Garmon, Betty Jean Garmon, all of Concord and brother, James Wesley Garmon. The family will receive friends Monday February 24, 2014 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord 460 Branchview Dr. Concord NC 28025. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Barrett will follow at 11:00am in Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park of Kannapolis at Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Kannapolis. She is also survived by a two daughters, Melody Hughes and husband Jeff and Margie Pressley and husband Wayne; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
