Phyllis Hodges

Phyllis Kindley Hodges, 67, of Concord, NC, passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Hodges was born January 3, 1943, in Cabarrus County, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Junior Hodges; father, James Tinslow Kindley; and mother, Bonnie Isenhour Kindley. Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 3, 5 – 7 p.m., at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. At other times, the family will meet at her home. The funeral will be Monday, 2:00 p.m., in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Concord. Burial will follow in West Concord Cemetery, Concord, NC. Survivors include her son, James Willie Hodges; daughters, Ann Medlin and Bonnie Johnson, all of Concord; brother, James Larry Kindley of Harrisburg; sisters, Nancy Coleen Hudson of Concord, Margie Louise Hudson of China Grove, Juanita Geraldine Hudson of Concord, Frances Jeanette Kindley of Concord, Carolyn Sue Jewell of Delaware, and Vicki Marlene Berry of Concord; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
