Phyllis Jordan

Phyllis Ann Jordan, 83, of Concord, passed away Friday, January 4, 2019.

Phyllis was born April 8, 1935 in Concord to the late Robert James Hunsucker and the late Willie Viola Hatley Hunsucker Kinler.  She was also preceded in death by brother James Hunsucker.

Phyllis worked in a hosiery mill and worked as a CNA at a local hospital in order to provide for her family. She lived to spend time with her family, loved needlepoint and traveling.

Survivors include beloved husband of 66 years, Harry Garner Jordan; daughters, Pamela Campbell and Nancy Spainhour; sons, Keith Jordan and Rick Jordan; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren; sister Billie Jones of Fresno, CA and brother Jerry Kinler of Fresno, CA.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Monday, January 7, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
