Phyllis Langford

Phyllis June Langford, 87, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Brookdale Clare Bridge in Concord. Ms. Langford was born September 2, 1926 to the late Forrest Lewis and Lela Cain. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Brown. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00pm. A graveside service, officiated Rev. Steve Pennington, will be held at Carolina Memorial Park on Hwy 49 in Harrisburg on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00. She is survived by a daughter, Brenda Winslow of Concord; two sons, James Adkins and wife Barbara of Mt. Pleasant and Eddie Adkins, Jr. and wife Judy of Cleveland, NC; two sisters, Eunice Thomas of Harrison, WV and Oleta Gray of Stanley, NC; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Langford family.
