Polly Burleson

Polly Ann Tucker Burleson, 75 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Mrs. Burleson was born August 26, 1939 in Stanly County, NC to the late William Tucker and the late Bernice Paige Tucker. She was also preceded in death by her husband Flay Melvin Burleson and two brothers.

Polly was a strong Christian woman who loved the Lord and her family and friends. She struggled with health problems for so long, but now she is pain free rejoicing in her heavenly home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM - 2:00PM Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Mineral Springs Baptist Church, 4694 NC 205 Hwy, Oakboro. The funeral service will follow in the sanctuary at 2:00PM, officiated by Rev. Mike Taylor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Sandra Hahn and husband Ricky, son, Reggie Burleson. She is also survived by granddaughters, Jamie Ann Cochran and husband David; Haley Breann Hahn, great grandson Cameron Cochran, sister Mary Ellen Furr, and one grand dog, Jax.
