Polly Carlene Hathcock Little, 80, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Atrium Health Pineville in Charlotte.
Polly was born August 24, 1943 in Stanfield to the late Thomas Burton Hathcock and the late Bertha Elizabeth Hathcock.
Survivors include husband, Zeb Douglas "Doug" Little of Stanfield, NC; daughter, Stephanie (Constance) of Raleigh, NC; son, Mark of Stanfield, NC; sister, Rachel Hudson, Albemarle, NC; sister, Margaret Almond (Tommy) of Matthews, NC; brother, Blane Hathcock (Margaret) of Albemarle, NC.
Polly was a prolific cook and self-published her own cookbook in 2008. She retired in 2004 from S&D Coffee after a distinguished career in payroll and benefits.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm, Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Loves Grove Methodist Church, 4360 Polk Ford Road, Stanfield, NC 28163. The funeral service will follow in the church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Jim White. Burial will follow at the Loves Grove Methodist Church Cemetery.
