R. Hartsell, Sr

Robert Glenn Hartsell, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at Five Oaks Manor in Concord.
Glenn was born August 31, 1932 in North Carolina to the late T.A. Hartsell and Sudie Coley Hartsell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Evelyn Hartsell; his son, Bobby Hartsell; his three brothers, Jason Hartsell, J.W. Hartsell and Ben Hartsell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Friendship United Methodist Church, Mt. Pleasant Road, Concord . The funeral service will be on at 3:00 pm in Friendship United Methodist Church sanctuary, officiated by Rev. Burris and Rev. Armistead, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his son, Rick Hartsell of Concord; his four grandsons, Jamie Hartsell, Joshua Hartsell, Tim Hartsell and Andrew Hartsell; his two brothers, J.D. Hartsell and Cecil Hartsell; his three sisters, Joyce Baucom, Shirley Linker and Mary Jewel Hayes; his four great grandchildren, Luke Hartsell, Andrew Hartsell, Jr., Kennedy Hartsell and Cole Hartsell.
Glenn loved his grandchildren and loved to fish.
