Rachel Barbee

Rachel Lucille Talbert Barbee, 88, of 515 Lake Concord Road, formerly of 40 Barbee Road Concord passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Avante of Concord. Born on January 22, 1922 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Lee and Thelma Britty Wise Talbert. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Murlin Barbee who passed away on August 27, 2006. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home Concord on Friday, August 13, 2010 from 10 AM until 11 AM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 11 AM, with Rev. Dr. Glenn Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Survived by; son Bill Barbee and wife Sharon of Concord; brother, Gerald Talbert of Concord; grandchildren, Michael, Chad, and Steven Barbee; great-grandchildren, Jesika and Sydney Barbee.
