Rachel Seamon
April 18, 1921 — August 15, 2017
Rachel Geneva Seamon, 96 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
Rachel was born April 18, 1921 in Concord, NC to the late Sim Clay and the late Ada Starnes Clay.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Seamon; as well as her sister Grace Kiser and six brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Jean Archer and Linda Moreland; grandchildren Wayne Brown and wife Bonnie; Robin Morrill and husband Joseph; Donald Burris; great grandchildren Carson, Krystal and Cody Brown; great great granddaughters Ava, Madalyn, Teghan and Evelyn Brown; as well as Gracie and Caroline Powell.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, August 21, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord, officiated by Rev. Paul Myers. Burial will follow at the Oakwood Cemetery in Concord.
