Ralph Calvin Linker, 70, of Midland, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Concord.
Ralph was born January 3, 1947 in Cabarrus County to the late Ralph Linker and the late Laura Mae Riley Linker. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Norma Jean Layton Linker, who passed away in 2014; and daughter, Lisa Rene Linker.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service to celebrate his life will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2017 in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Cooper, and Pastor Wayne Lambert. The burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis.
He is survived by his son, Jerry Linker of Midland, David Linker and wife Janita of Concord, Steve Linker and wife Laura of Concord; brothers, Leroy, George, Charles, Dan Linker and their families, all of Concord; sisters, Judy Long of Concord, Tamara Love of Midland, and their families; ten grandchildren, Steven, Matthew, Jacob, Katie, Michael, Jeremy, Madison, Peyton, Justin, Jimmy; five great-grandchildren, Ryker, Grayson, Weston, Violet, Ava; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ralph was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He had a strong work ethic, retiring from Allied Construction Company after 40 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed playing softball with his family, and going fishing.
