Ralph Wagner

Ralph Reed Wagner, 97 of Concord, passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Avante Nursing Home in Concord. Mr. Wagner was born April 18, 1916 in McKeesport, PA, to the late William James Wagner and Elizabeth Mary Wagner . In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years Leoda Irene Gaither Wagner, sons; Richard Wagner and Billy Wagner; daughters; Gail Foster and Doris Ann Wagner; and granddaughter, Loretta Lynn Wagner. Mr. Wagner was a WWII veteran of the US Army. He worked for ACME Pest Control in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm. A Graveside service will follow at 2:00pm officiated by Pastor Kyle Delong at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis. Family and friends will gather at the Social Hall of Church of Nazarene 2520 Hwy. 49N, Concord, NC 28025. Survivors include daughters; Shirley Smith of Concord, and Susan Hutchinson of Concord; son, Randy Wagner of Concord; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
