Ramakrishna C Basetty

Ramakrishna C Basetty, 91, of Concord, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2024 in Concord, with his loving family by his side.

Ramakrishna was born on November 14, 1932 in India, to the late Narasimhulu Chetty Basetty and the late Navaneethamma Basetty.

He is survived by his daughter, Vasundara Kalangi; son-in-law, Govardhan Kalangi; graddaughters, Ujjwala Kalangi and her husband Charles Camposano, Dhruthi Kalangi and her husband Karan Nathani; along with his loving great-grandchildren, Riya and Shaan Camposano.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends in both New Jersey and North Carolina. He was known for being very active, going on long walks, an avid reader and for sharing memorable stories. He lived a happy and fulfilled life and will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are welcome from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland to pay respects; cremation will follow at Hartsell Funeral Home.
