Ramelle Huneycutt

Ramelle Ross Huneycutt, age 91, of Albemarle, passed away on January 14, 2012, at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Wednesday, January 18 from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM. A graveside service will be held at Oakboro Cemetery on Wednesday at 4:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Claude Burleson. Mrs. Huneycutt was born on October 12, 1920 in Stanly County, to the late Edmond Orestus “E.O.” Ross and the late Rebecca “Becky” Deese Ross. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Alexander Huneycutt, in 2001. She is also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Ross A. and Nancy N. Huneycutt of Lewisville; a brother, William D. Ross of Richfield; loving grandson, John A. Huneycutt of Oak Island; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home, 24724 Hwy 52, Albemarle, NC 28001.
