Ramona Varra

Ramona Jean Galusha Varra, a long-time resident of Florida, now residing in Harrisburg, NC, died unexpectedly Tuesday the 14th of April at Carolina Medical Center - NorthEast in Concord, surrounded by her family.

Ramona was born in 1934 in Coldwater, Kansas and was married to her beloved husband, Robert Lee Varra, for 62 years. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Ramona loved cooking, baking and socializing, enjoyed going to the movies with her husband, spent much of her time making ceramics and many plastic canvas crafts, and was known for her wonderful smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her lifelong husband, Don; daughters, Micala (preceded in death), Laural (Kirk), Joleen (Eugene), Dee (Tuna) and Myrtzie (Tim); 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brother Delbert and sister Betty; and many nieces and nephews.
