Randy Lynn Cornell, 54, of Charlotte, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
Randy was born August 5, 1960 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence Edward Cornell and the late Evelyn Ruth Ford Cornell. He was also preceded in death by grandson, Jayden Cornell; and sister, Debbie Miller.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. At other times the family will be gathering at the home.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Susan Johnson Cornell; son, Eddie Cornell and wife Jessica of Concord; daughters, Misty Cornell of Charlotte, Mandy Cornell and husband Donnie of Midland, and Ashley Cornell of Charlotte; 11 grandchildren, Destiny, Bryanna, Brendon, Levi, Josh, Alex, Alyssa, Taylen, Damien, Sierra, and Gabriella; two brothers; one sister; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Randy was a loving husband, father, and PawPaw. He was a long time member of PDA, served as an Elder at Locust Presbyterian Church for many years, and was a carpenter by trade. He was a friend to everyone he met. Randy will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
