Randy Holt

Randy Hal Holt, 54, of Albemarle, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on February 28, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 3 from 6-8 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home. The service will be held Friday, March 4 at 2 PM in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Norview Gardens in Norwood. Rev. Lonnie Pittman will officiate the services. Mr. Holt was born in Stanly County on May 15, 1956 to the late Nathan and Rachel Holt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jennifer Jean Honeycutt Holt; and brother, Larry Holt. During his life, he was a firefighter at the Volunteer Fire Department in Badin. He was also an avid drummer and loved to garden and fish. Mr. Holt is survived by his sons, Justin Holt of Charlotte, Patrick Holt and wife Jessica of Badin; brother, Nathan “Buddy” Holt, Jr. of Albemarle; grandchildren, Alex and Taylor Holt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.?
