Randy Oliver, Sr.

Randy Eugene Oliver Sr., 60, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020 at Carolinas Medical Center Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Oliver was born December 23, 1959 in North Carolina to Rozana Oliver and the late William Oliver.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Joe Oliver, Duane Oliver, Jake Oliver and sister, Lynn Morton.

His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to their ballgames, watching them play, and his Papa dates. Randy also loved going to the Panthers games with his daughter, Angel. Above all, God was first in Randy's life. His main goal was to get people to love and come to know God. He was also known as the "Candy man" by many people at Silver Springs Baptist. Randy enjoyed sitting out on the porch with the love of his life, Chrystal, watching all of their farm animals. He also was one of the founders of the Aquadale Youth league and loved to spend his personal time coaching.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, November 5, 2020  at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle officiated by Pastor Mark Little and Pastor Jerry Ingle. Burial will follow at the Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 16072 NC 138 Hwy, Norwood.

Survivors include wife, Chrystal Oliver; sons, Randy Oliver Jr and wife Alisha, Timmy Oliver and wife Meleah; daughter, Angel Gilbert and husband Billy; grandchildren, Jayden, Peyton, Luke, Brooklyn, and Brynlee; brother, Chester Oliver, and sister, Vickie Morton and husband Roger.
