Ray Allmon

Ray "Van" Allmon, 59 years of age, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his residence.

Van was born August 21, 1954 in Concord, North Carolina to Jimmie Van Allmon and Barbara Lucille Allmon .

The family will receive friends from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord in officiated by Rev. Michael Threadgill. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis .

Survivors include his father and mother, Jimmie Van Allmon and Barbara Allmon of Concord, sister Dianna Allmon Threadgill and husband Rev. Michael Threadgill , one niece Amanda Threadgill Kraushaar.

He was a member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church.

Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Allmon family.
