Ray Isenhour

Ray Isenhour, age 90, of Gold Hill, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2013 at CMC- NorthEast Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Matton’s Grove United Methodist Church, on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm in the fellowship hall. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Kathy Bryant and Rev. Tony Bowman, will follow at 2:00pm in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at his home. Mr. Isenhour was born on May 6, 1922, to the late George Isenhour and the late Laura Isenhour. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mildred Isenhour of the home; a son, Charles Alvin Isenhour of Kernersville; three daughters, Betty Thomas of Kannapolis, Linda Woods of Salisbury, and Louise Luther of China Grove; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
