Ray Little

Ray Bennett Little, 86 years of age, of Locust, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Woodhaven Court in Albemarle.

Ray was born March 1, 1929 in Union County to the late Sandy Little and the late Mildred Chaney Little. He was also preceded in death by wife, Hazel Pines Little in May of 2014; daughter, Barbara Aldridge; son, Charles Little; brothers, Ralph, Morris Joe, and Ward Little.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Gene Hopkins will be at 4:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Chapel. Burial will follow at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, 12568 Philadelphia Church Rd., Stanfield.

He is survived by grandchildren, Keith Aldridge and Sissy of Stanfield, Sherry Adcock and husband, Gabe of Murfreesboro, TN, Kelly Kimrey and husband, Justin of Oakboro, and Kimberly Eury of Locust; seven great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Nathan, Anna, Jaxon, Maddie, and Lizzie; sisters, Virginia Wringler, and Elaine Hill; brothers, Heath, Ted, and Mike Little.
