Ray Mauldin

Ray Littleton Mauldin, 86, of 36755 Mauldin Road, Albemarle, NC passed away on April 25, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 28 at 1 PM at Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends after the services in the church fellowship hall. Rev. David Howard will officiate. Mr. Mauldin was born in Stanly County on August 29, 1924 to the late Bruce and Pearl Moose Mauldin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Mauldin; brothers, John, Jake and Hubert Mauldin; and sister, Martha Mauldin. Mr. Mauldin is survived by his wife Frances Mauldin of the home; and step-sons, Lee Ragsdale and wife Joyce of Albemarle, Donnie Ragsdale of Albemarle. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North 1st Street, Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Mauldin family.
