Rayford Timms

Rayford Willis Timms, 87, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Friday, December 25,at his home.

Rayford was born August 2, 1933 in Abbeville, South Carolina to the late Willis E. Timms and Minnie Euphia Timms. Ray served in the US Navy and after his service he attended Milwaukee School of Engineering and became a Manufacturing Engineer. He was employed by American Air Filter, Pneumafil Corporation, and Luwa Bahnson. Ray loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Survivors include wife, Judy Timms, daughters, Susan Egan (Michael), and Cynthia Mathena, brother, Frank Timms, sister, Wilma Moore, granddaughter, Lauren Egan, grandsons, Collin Egan, and Dillon Mathena.

Memorials may be made to a Veterans organization or charity of choice.
