Raymond Gordon, Jr

Raymond Ellsworth Gordon, Jr., 64 years of age, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 in Concord. Ray was born May 2, 1949 in West Virginia to the late Raymond Ellsworth Gordon Sr. and the late Estie Carpenter Gordon. Raymond was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and served his country in Vietnam before being honorably discharged. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 2:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord officiated by Rev. Michael Greer. The burial will follow at the West Concord Cemetery at 331 Union Cemetery Rd SW, Concord. Survivors include daughter, Trina Mauldin of Concord, NC; son, Raymond Ellsworth Gordon III of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Jacob Alexander Braido, Madalyn Grace Gordon, and Raymond Ellsworth Gordon, IV. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Gordon family.
