Raymond Mccall, Jr

Raymond "RC" Clarence McCall, Jr., 81 years of age, of Concord, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center-Northeast in Concord. RC was born April 21, 1933 in Concord to the late Raymond Clarence McCall, Sr. and the late Mary Mildred Cox McCall. He was also preceded in death by his son, Ricky McCall. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm, Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty Jean Castor McCall of the home; sons, Eric McCall of Lexington, and Darren McCall and wife Jill of England; daughters, Karen Sossoman and husband Daryl of Concord, Susan Blackwelder and husband Charlie of Concord, step-son, AC Seamon and wife Mary Ann of Concord; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the McCall family.
