Rebecca Howell

Becky Howell, 79, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020.

Mrs. Howell was born November 15, 1940 to the late Yates and Mildred Stafford
McCachren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband,
Douglas Howell; son, David K. Foster.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 pm, Monday, September 14, 2020 at
Covenant Church of Harrisburg, 6900 Hickory Ridge Rd., Harrisburg. The funeral
service will follow at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Gene Turner Jr., and Rev. Charles M.
Efird. Burial will conclude at the Carolina Memorial Park, 12015 University City Blvd.,
Charlotte.

Survivors include son, Keith Foster of FL, brother Gary McCachren of Semora, NC and
Teddy McCachren of Harrisburg, NC and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Becky’s lifelong passion was serving her church Covenant Church of Harrisburg. She
was an avid member of the choir and conducted Bible study in her home with friends.
Whenever there was an event at the church Becky could always be counted on to provide
her famous pecan tarts.
