Rebecca G. Parton, 86 years of age, of Concord, NC went to be with her Savior on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.
Becky was born November 16, 1929 in Pomaria, SC to the late Ernest O. Graham and the late Eunice R. Graham. She was also preceded in death by her ex-husband of 35 years, Billy Carol Parton; as well as five brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include her daughters, Pamela P. Howell and husband Wayne of Rockwell, NC; Debbie Welch of Concord, NC; granddaughters Becca Howell of Wilmington, NC and Shannon Welch of Shelby, NC; her sister Jessie of Whitmire, SC and her brother Bob of Nashville, TN; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Becky was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed game shows and reading her bible. She was a member of Broadus Baptist Church for many years. Becky was loved and will be truly missed by those who knew her.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Broadus Baptist Church, Saturday, June 25th at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Rodney Quesenbury officiating.
