Reece Snyder

Reece Rodger Snyder, 88 years of age, of Concord, NC, went home to the Lord, Monday, Feb. 5, 2018.
Rodger was born March 8, 1929 in High Point, NC, son to the late Reece Clark and Christine Wayne Snyder.
Rodger Snyder was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife of 62 yrs., 3 mo., 2 days and 8 hours and 21 min., Phyllis Snyder.
Rodger Snyder was a graduate of Catawba College, where he met his soon to be wife, Phyllis. After college he joined the Air Force where he served his country during the Korean War, with over two years of that service being stationed in Japan.
Rodger later joined his wife, Phyllis, in a ceramic business she started where they both ran P.S. Ceramics in Greensboro, NC successfully for 18 years.
Rodger was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He also loved the Lord with all his heart and his church families. Job well done, good and faithful servant. We'll miss you.
Surviving are three sons, Reece R. Snyder Jr. (Rusty) and wife, Karen of Asheboro, NC, David Guy Snyder of Concord, NC and Thomas Gordon Snyder of Florida. Three grandchildren, Cory Reece Snyder and wife Keisha, Chelsea Derreberry and husband Randy, and Craig Snyder and two great-grandchildren, Gavin Reece and Blakley Caroline Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Branchview Drive, Concord, NC, followed by a graveside memorial at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Philip Lane Benhan of Kerygma Church officiating.
