Reggie Burris

Reggie Dean Burris, 65, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Mr. Burris was born June 2, 1954 in Stanly County to the late Arthur Lee Burris and the late Ruth Estelle Burris. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, a great grandchild, and a brother, Rodney Stephen Burris.

Reggie was a former employee of Cannon Mills and was retired from Charlotte Pipe and Foundry.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Sunday, January 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle.

Survivors include wife, Betty Evelyn Burris; daughters, Belinda Ingram and husband Tony, Tina Baxley and husband Keith, Rebecca Lambert and husband Stoney, and Jamie Lambert; sons, James Lambert and wife Tonia, Duane Burris and wife Kristin, and Hank Burris and husband Ayrick; grandchildren, Ashley Burton-Ingram and wife Kayla, Christopher Baxley, Jameshia Chavis and husband Dustin, Kory Huneycutt, Kelli Ingram, Willie Ragmon and wife Kiana, Shevelle McIntyre, Dylan Mangum, Abigail Burris, Raven Baxley, Taylor Ingram, Clayton Thomas Lambert;  great-grandchildren, Lettie Huneycutt, Jaxon Chavis, and one to be expected; brothers, Jimmy Burris and wife Lucille, Sherrill Burris and wife Sarah, and Randy Burris and wife Priscilla.
