Regina Dixon

Regina Ott Dixon, Age 87 of 33245 South Stanly School Road, Norwood NC, passed away on July 25, 2010 at her home in Norwood. Born in Germany, on April 21, 1923 to the late Maxmillian Humpl and the late Geneva Humpl she was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, George F. Dixon; who passed away in 2003; and one son Floyd Calvin Dixon. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her daughters Mary Goss of Concord, NC, Nellie Foreman of Myrtle Beach SC, Betty Hatley of Norwood NC, her nine granchildren, twenty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. Regina was a loving mother who loved gardening and was compassionate about animals. She loved German cooking and eating as well as visiting her loved ones. Visitation will be Tuesday July 27, 2010 from 6 pm until 8 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 28, 2010 at 4 pm at Cottonville Baptist Church with 30 min state. The Rev. Alex Willoughby and Rev. Tab Whitley will officate.
